Hey guys (trainee again),

I am trying to figure out a couple of things about our local blue cat fishing. I have been hitting the Chick (dam side) about 3 to 4 times a week now for the past month. I have been fishing the turbines hard first, then running over in the calm by the flood gates and ending up by the railroad bridge. I have landed about 100 blue Kittens and I mean Kittens (about 7 to 10 inches long) over the past month. I caught a 25 lb blue cat by the bridge Tuesday, but forgot my camera. But I would like to know why the big blues have came to a screaching halt. I know they have to eat. Why have they just quit altogether. I have never seen it get this slow for this long. I have actually passed up fishing a day or two over the past few weeks because of the slow bite. That is just not like me at all, but I havent been able to learn anything to increase my odds. I have tried bait changeing, line changeing, and I cant seem to do as good as I used to be able to do when the summer first started and I dont know why. Could someone give me some insight on why the bigger blues have slowed down like this. I thought their spawn was over and i fugured they would be mega hungary. Thanks for all the help.
