September 26th 2009 Redneck Lawn Mower Derby @ Cory Apple Festival
The next derby is Saturday September 26th @ Cory Apple Festival
Cory Indiana 47846
Redneck Lawn Mower Derby
(1:00pm)
25.00 entry fee
BIGEST Trophy"s yet will be given for 1 st-5th place as well as cash payout for #1,#2 #3.There will be a Trophy"s given to the hardest hitter and most creative.There will also be a 50/50 drawing as well.It will be a cash split.
Rules
1. Totally stock nothing welded or bolted to your rider.You may use self-tapping screws.
2.No rim sizes bigger then 13"
3.Drivers must make contact within 90 seconds during the derby:Judes will have you on the clock at all times
4.No one is to be on the track other then the drivers and the judges NO EXCEPTIONS!
5.There will be no teaming up or sandbagging or you will be Disqualified!
6.You must stay in side the red tape,if you are pushed out you have 90seconds to re-enter the red tape area.
7.You can run any horsepower engine as long as it"s a riding mover engine.
8.No zero trun riders.
9.For this event you must be 18
Same rules go for the powder puff derby.
This event is for fun!so lets keep it that way.Bad Additudes will not be Tolerated.Hope to see you all there!

Only 2 months away,Ill be ready and this even is a BIG event with a real good trun out of mowers as well as a real nice pay out!!!! I think last years #1-place pay out was $350 or higher just for crashing up a mower

Ill be there. Workin on the Gibson co. mowers now but Ill be ready by then. MADCOW 103 and UMO 369 Will be there.

I have had 2 guys stop by my house asking about a few things as what they can do to their mowers as they are new to this and never been in a lawnmower derby and they just stop back by asking a few more things as well as showing me a pic of one of their mowers i must say one of the mowers looks good got a pipe comeing up out the hood and a nice paint job as well as baby daulls tires on the back they said they well log in and make an acount and post a pic of the 2 of their mowers.

I guess steve said with only haveing 3 derbys this year hes not gone to do the points as its reany not to fair with only 3 derbys so at the cory derby the Trophy well be real big to make up for the points,All so this year all so ill be thaking with steve about next year as geting back to where there is a derby every month

Just ran at the Gibson co derby and got 2nd and $$$. It was one big heat of 18 or 19 mowers. There was some hard hits. They destroyed my mower. It still runs but has no stearing and cooked the trans. It was a good turnout.
